Associateship of the Welsh Photographic Federation
On the 7th November 2021 I have achieved AWPF... Associateship of the Welsh Photographic Federation.
Today we watched via zoom 7 Print panels and 6 Digital sequences being judged by Chair of Judges Gary Shinner MPSA BPSA, Jenny Hibbert MPAGB, AWPF, EFIAP/g, Frank Coleman, Ed Cloutman Hons FWPF EFIAP, and Leigh Woolford Hons FWPF, AWPF, EFIAP, DPAGB, BPE3
Each panel consists of 12 mounted prints organised with a theme and the digital sequence similarly arranged. I was first out for assessment and I thought my heart was going to leap out of my chest! Luckily my print panel was well received and i was awarded this coveted distinction.
My Panel is from the " "Prophecy of Dragons" series - this is "Sign of the Dragon"... where we are introduced to the Oracles who form the core of my story.
And how can you have a story of dragons and not have one guarding the prints..., I made a portfolio with metal clasps and locks complete with my own sculptured dragon to house the mounted 40x50cm prints and it weighs a ton - Just ask David Lewis who has to post it back to me. Sometimes more is more!!

Many thanks to David Lewis for taking the portfolio into custody, the Assessors for doing a brilliant Job :), Del and Susan who kept us zoomers in line and all my fellow candidates for their company and chit chat as we waited for the results. It was a nail biting morning but lovely seeing all the different photographic panels and meeting such lovely people. Congratulations to all who succeeded and commiseration to those who had a blip.
